    The department of Chemistry was established in the year 1964. Chemistry department is offering complimentary course for First Degree programmes in Botany and Zoology. Prof. K. V.  Rajan Pillai, Prof. K. N. Balakrishnan, Prof. B. Nabeesa Beevi, Prof. S. Jaya Prakash and Dr. S. Faizal were the former lecturers of the department. We provide our students with an excellent and comprehensive education of the principles of chemistry, including rich laboratory experience within the curriculum.
